Transmission systems officer
Role and key duties
Transmission systems officers are responsible for maintaining and installing transmission systems and data equipment.
Duties may include: performing service and transmission equipment restoration and testing tasks; providing diagnostics and tracing faults; maintaining records and documentation; and providing support for emergency callouts and after-hours fault rectification duties.
Minimum qualification required
Completion of Year 12 or equivalent (including VCE, VCAL or Certificate II VET sector accreditation).
Associate Diploma of Engineering (Electronics) or equivalent, current holder of Australian Communications Authority General Premises Cabling Licence, Rail Track Safety Level 1 and Victorian driver"s licence.
