Role and key duties

Waiting staff serve food and drinks to guests.


Duties may include: setting tables; welcoming and seating customers; advising on menu and drinks; and passing orders to kitchen staff or bar staff.

Minimum qualification required

Completion of Year 12 or equivalent (including VCE, VCAL or a Traineeship in Hospitality Operations).

Recommended qualification

Traineeship in Hospitality (Operations).
