Role and key duties
Kitchen/sandwich hands are responsible for washing and cleaning utensils and dishes returned to a commercial kitchen and making sure they are stored appropriately.
Duties may include: handling and storing food items; preparing foodstuffs; and disposing of rubbish.
Minimum qualification required
Completion of Year 12 or equivalent (including VCE, VCAL or Certificate II Hospitality Kitchen Operations).
Certificate II in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations).
