Role and key duties
Butlers are a key element in a team of professionals striving to deliver a level of personalised service that exceeds the expectation of guests and adds a point of difference from the service provided elsewhere.
Duties may include: supervising and coordinating activities of household employees engaged in cooking, cleaning and related domestic duties; overseeing serving of luncheon and dinner; setting tables, directing workers in serving meals or personally serving them; performing other services as requested, such as mixing and serving cocktails and tea; and answering telephone and delivering messages.
Minimum qualification required
Completion of Year 12 or equivalent (including VCE, VCAL or Certificate II VET sector accreditation).
Certificate III or IV in Hospitality or Tourism.
