Role and key duties
Bar /beverage staff prepare, mix and serve drinks to customers.
Duties may include: serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; drawing beer from the tap or pouring from bottles; mixing ingredients to make cocktails and slicing fruit to garnish drinks; preparing and serving a variety of coffees; refilling drink and cigarette dispensers; and collecting glasses from tables and placing them in glass washing machines.
Minimum qualification required
Completion of Year 12 or equivalent (including VCE, VCAL or Certificate II VET sector accreditation).
Certificate II, III or IV in Hospitality or Tourism.
