Role and key duties

Occupational therapists conduct tests to assess functional, emotional, psychological, developmental and physical capabilities of patients.

Duties may include: planning therapeutic programs to assist patients to regain personal care skills, such as eating and dressing; and skills in social, work and leisure environments.

Minimum qualification required

Completion of a Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Recommended qualification

Degree in Occupational Therapy.
