Settlement officer

Role and key duties

Settlement officers are responsible for the processing and reconciling of trades to ensure timely settlement of all global securities handled by the Victorian Government.

Duties may include: conducting closings; reviewing settlement papers with buyers and sellers; answering questions about the settlement process; and working with lenders if there is a problem during closing.

Minimum qualification required

Completion of a Degree in Financial Services with a major in Conveyancing.
