Role and key duties
Grants coordinators (including building society and credit union officers) receive and pay out money and assist customers with loans, foreign currency and investments.
Duties may include: assessing the viability and credit risk of businesses and consumer loan proposals; selling bank products and services; examining, evaluating and processing applications for credit or loans; and, in a commercial enterprise, controlling and processing accounts.
Minimum qualification required
Completion of a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Financial Services.
Degree in Business, Commerce or Economics with a major in Banking or Finance.
