Role and key duties

Surveyors work out the size and shape of an area of land and the boundaries of public and private land.

Duties may include: planning, developing and redeveloping urban or rural property, land and buildings; and measuring and managing construction works; and surveillance and monitoring of civil works.

Minimum qualification required

Completion of a Degree in Applied Science with a major in Geomatics or Surveying, or Geomatic Engineering.
