Surveillance officer

Role and key duties

Surveillance officers provide surveillance and audit of road and bridge construction and maintenance works.

Duties may include: surveillance and audit of road and bridge construction projects; preparation and management of minor works; conducting risk-based field surveillance of assigned works under quality assured contracts; managing resolution of issues on site with contractor; and managing relationships and liaison with landowners, service authorities and other relevant stakeholders.

Minimum qualification required

Completion of an Advanced Diploma in construction/civil engineering field, Advanced Certificate of Works Management (Municipal and Roads).

Recommended qualification

Advanced Diploma in construction/civil engineering field or Advanced Certificate of Works Management (Municipal and Roads).
