Role and key duties

Site managers assist builders and construction managers by planning and organising projects.

Duties may include: interpreting building plans, regulations and codes; making sure that specifications and regulations are followed; calculating costs and estimates for tenders; and preparing detailed programs and rosters for site works.

Minimum qualification required

Completion of a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Building and Construction (Building).
