Curriculum development officer/project officer

Role and key duties

Curriculum development officers/project officers undertake the review, evaluation, development and support for curriculum and assessment policy P-12 years. They work within a variety of curriculum areas (mathematics, science, computer, language, music, technology, information technology, English, physical education or other curriculum areas as sought).

Duties may include: developing English and other curriculum and assessment materials to support the ongoing implementation and maintenance of VELS and VCE, and of assessment projects P-12; implementing policy related to senior secondary and P-10 curriculum, and managing related implementation activities; and undertaking research and providing policy advice on relevant Victorian, national and international P-12 curriculum and assessment issues, policies, programs and strategies.

Minimum qualification required

Completion of an appropriate postgraduate tertiary qualification.
