Course accreditation officer

Role and key duties

Course accreditation officers approve training courses to be delivered in higher education institutions and TAFEs.

Duties may include: liaising with training institutions and industry to develop accreditation standards; communicating with trainers to notify them of modifications to accreditation standards; and conducting audits on institutions to make sure accreditation standards are being met.

Minimum qualification required

Completion of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

Recommended qualification

Degree with a major in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Adult Education or Training.
