Economic policy adviser/analyst

Role and key duties

Economic policy advisers/analysts review and update existing policies and legislation, research social, economic and industrial trends and develop and analyse economic policy options.

Duties may include: recommending preferred options; assessing the financial implications and fairness of policies; liaising with key stakeholders; and preparing briefing papers for policy changes.

Minimum qualification required

Completion of a Degree in Economics.

Recommended qualification

Degree in Business with a major in Economics.
