Water services officer
Role and key duties
Water services officers are responsible for planning, controlling and delivering water for purposes such as irrigation, and for commercial, stock and domestic usage.
Duties may include: planning and ordering water deliveries; distributing orders and controlling water flow; and monitoring, regulating and undertaking maintenance of storages, reservoirs and pumping stations.
Minimum qualification required
Completion of a Certificate II, III or IV in Water Industry Operations.
Traineeship in Water Industry Operations.
