Role and key duties

Maintenance and construction employees are responsible for maintenance and repair work within water treatment facilities.

Duties may include: undertaking preventative and routine maintenance and assisting in the construction of new works; maintaining and repairing plant and equipment as sought; repairing and maintaining water supply and wastewater mains and works as sought; undertaking work to maintain water quality within reticulation systems.

Minimum qualification required

Completion of Year 12 or equivalent (including VCE, VCAL or Certificate II VET sector accreditation).
